Coram conference - Development and Attachment in Adoption

Coram conference - Development and Attachment in Adoption

The focus of the conference, Development and Attachment in Adoption: Studies from Infancy to Adolescence, will be on the development of adopted children including their attachments.

It will be held at the Foundling Museum in London and is an exciting opportunity to hear leading researchers including Jeanne Kaniuk, Coram's Head of Adoption and Permanent Families Service and Dr Sophie Laws, Assistant Director for Evaluation and Impact at Barnardo's (formerly Coram's Head of Policy and Research).

The morning session will be devoted to a Coram/Anna Freud longitudinal research study comparing the development of attachments between a group of children adopted before 12 months of age and a group of older children from backgrounds of adversity.
