Handel Birthday Concert

Join us for Coram's Handel Birthday Concert as we celebrate the 350th anniversary of the birth of our founder, Thomas Coram. “On the Conserving of Children…” will show the history of how foundlings and music became inextricably intertwined in European music.

Leading international soprano Rebecca Evans and virtuoso trumpeter Crispian Steele-Perkins lead a team of talented young musicians including  Harry Kneeshaw, with the Junior Royal Academy of Music, and the Choristers of the Temple ChurchJulian Perkins directs Sounds Baroque in a programme including works by Handel, Purcell, Vivaldi & Haydn.

We are also thrilled to be joined by one of the UK's leading countertenors and national treasure in the baroque world, James Bowman CBE, who will narrate the musical jounrey of the evening.
