Public Child Care Law Conference

26th June 2012

Children and Families Across Borders (CFAB) is hosting a conference on Public Child Care Law. This conference will help delegates to understand how the latest changes to child care proceedings will translate into practice, and address the following questions:

• How exactly will the Family Justice Review recommendations impact on care proceedings?
• How have the new care planning regulations worked in practice?
• How does one effectively instruct an expert in the current climate?
• What do the Family Justice Review recommendations mean for adoption?
• What are the latest developments in the medico– legal debate concerning non - accidental injuries? 
 
Amongst the confirmed speakers is Jeanne Kaniuk OBE, Head of Adoption & Permanent Families Service at Coram. Jeanne will speak on the panel entitled ‘The new framework for adoption’ and discuss Family Justice Review proposals on adoption and the case for concurrent planning. 
 
When? Tuesday, 26 June 2012 from 9:15am to 5:15pm.
