Coram speaks about adoption at Conservative Party Conference

8th October 2012

Coram is taking part in a discussion on adoption and new approaches for children in care at the Conservative Party Conference.

Organised by Family Room, the event is among several seminars that will provide a focal point during the main political party conferences for debate around issues that families face today.

This year, Coram Director of Operations and Deputy CEO, Renuka Jeyarajah-Dent, is speaking at Adopting new approaches for children in, or on the edge of care. The discussion will take place during the Conservative Party Conference in Birmingham.

When? Monday 8 October, 2012, 7.30pm-9pm.

Where?  Birmingham, ICC Symphony Hall Foyer Level 5A (secure zone).

Why? Coram is a member of Family Room, an alliance of 16 leading family sector organisations reaching and supporting millions of families each year. Its events provide an opportunity for political party conference delegates to engage in discussions around the real issues faced by families today, including parenting support, childcare, and family finances, with insight from leading figures in the family sector on what families value.
