Adolescents in public care: Best practice in managing transition and achieving stability

5th April 2011

BAAF and Together Trust are hosting the conference ‘Adolescents in public care: Best practice in managing transition and achieving stability’.

Adolescence can be a turbulent time for all young people but it can also be one full of opportunity and excitement. Being an adolescent and in public care brings its own challenges, and we need to work hard to enable these young people to make the most of their opportunities and to support them in making a successful transition to adulthood. This conference will provide a stimulating mix of research and lessons from practice that will aim to help those working with or caring for young people to turn research into good practice.
