Music and art

Organise a concert, art exhibition or drama performance for Coram and follow in the footsteps of the artist Hogarth and composer Handel who were some of our earliest patrons.

Thomas CoramIt doesn’t have to be the Messiah or a famous portrait, whatever you decide to do we’ll help you make plans and reach your fundraising targets. We have Coram balloons, posters and leaflets to help tell everyone about your event.

Jarndyce Antiquarian Booksellers celebrated the 200th birthday of Charles Dickens with a private reading by Simon Callow, raising more than £1,500 for Coram. Owner Janet Nassau says:

“Coram is a local charity with a connection to Charles Dickens, and it makes such a difference to disadvantaged children. We were delighted with the help they gave us and we would happily support them again.”
