This is an exciting opportunity to join Coram Voice as our new Advocacy Coordinator in London. This is a pivotal role as we develop and expand our children’s rights services across London and South East. You will be responsible for supporting our advocates champion the rights of children and young people. You will also actively promote our advocacy services to young people and those involved in their care. You will support us to monitor and report on our service ensuring that we maintain the high quality of our services and continue to develop our support model to meet the changing needs of children and young people.
Supporting and supervising a diverse team of staff and associate advocates; you will be a resilient and supportive leader with excellent interpersonal skills. You will enjoy working with children and young people and will be driven to creating better chances for children though supporting them through care and accessing their rights. You will be a capable ambassador for Coram Voice with the ability to engage effectively with young people, social workers, foster carers, commissioners, and other stakeholders. You will be committed to ensuring that children and young people with Coram Voice advocates are provided with the excellent support that they deserve.
We are looking for an experienced child focused professional who can lead, work as part of a team, and proactively contribute to service promotion and development. We want someone who likes a challenge, wants to make a real difference in the lives of the children and young people and will innovate to achieve this. Above all we want someone who will be a champion for children and young people.
