Individual Giving and Database Executive

Established by Royal Charter in 1739, Coram is the UK’s oldest children’s charity. Today, we help some 1.4 million children and young people each year. We are based on a historic three-acre campus, a short walk from King’s Cross station.

The Individual Giving Team sits as part of the wider fundraising department.  The purpose of this role is to manage and deliver excellent supporter care, customer service and donor administration, assist in the development and delivery of high quality direct marketing campaigns and effectively manage our supporter database (Raiser’s Edge), ensuring robust policies and procedures are implemented. We are looking for an individual with the ability to utilise a diverse range of fundraising methods and platforms and who is willing to embrace new ideas.

You will be a confident administrator with a good background in supporter care and a strong knowledge of Raiser’s Edge.  You must have a passion for dealing with supporters with empathy and compassion. You will also support the Senior Individual Giving Manager in delivering successful Direct Marketing appeals. In addition, you will be able to manage conflicting priorities and deliver to targets and deadlines.  Excellent communication skills, an attention to details and a flexible work ethic are essential.

This varied and interesting role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their existing customer service and database skills as well as learning new disciplines.
