Coram’s Concurrent Planning Subscription Scheme
Many local authorities are interested in developing their own concurrent planning projects. Coram has been approached for advice and consultation by some of these, and is now offering to provide a system of mutual support and training to Local Authorities and VAAs interested in this area of work. Coram proposes to establish a network of agencies providing concurrent planning placements which can act as a support and reference group as part of an Early Permanence Partnership Programme.
Menu of services:
- Thrice yearly Review and Practice Sharing Group at Coram’s central London Campus to share learning, and problem solve on difficult cases/ issue like the courts/ parental assessments/ contact/ assessing concurrent planning carers
- Individual case consultation
- Training and supervision for social work teams
- Training and management services design for managers
- Training and CPD accreditation for legal colleagues, the judiciary/ panels
- Prospective Concurrent Planning carers able to attend Coram’s information sessions for new enquirers
- Prospective Concurrent Planning carers also able to attend the dedicated two day training for prospective carers
- Bespoke additional services including embedded partnership and management services are available by arrangement.
