Parents

If your child's school is visited by a local Life Education mobile classroom, you can expect them to begin to learn the skills that will help them make healthier choices in life: Confidence, communication, an understanding of how the body works and the ability to think independently.

You can support and reinforce this learning at home, whether or not your child receives Life Education, by checking out the tips in our Parents' Area on this site.

How we can help
In some areas we can run workshops in association with your child's school that will give you practical tools and advice on how to protect your children from making poor life choices. These work by helping them:

Understand the impact of drugs, alcohol and anti-social behaviour
Enjoy a healthy diet and exercise
Achieve well at school
Feel confident and happy
Communicate openly and reasonably
Develop positive attitudes towards life
Foster emotional wellbeing and the ability to think for themselves
