Giving children the best start in life is fundamental to their long-term happiness and security; but when it comes to caring for children, good intentions are not enough. Coram develops, promotes and delivers services that achieve best practice in the care of vulnerable children, young people and their families.
As well as evaluating our own work carefully, we engage with managers and practitioners of children’s services and with the very children, young people and parents we are trying to help through participatory research. These valuable insights allow us to develop a unique understanding of what works and what doesn’t when it comes to helping vulnerable children.
Coram provides consultancy to Local Authorities and other voluntary organisations in needs assessment, service design, research and evaluation.
