Coram is delighted to have become the main beneficiary of Cycle to Cannes, a unique fundraising challenge event for those working in, or in support of, the UK property sector.
Cycle to Cannes is an annual bike ride from London to Cannes, in the south of France, which covers a gruelling 1,500km over six days in early March.
With two different rides on offer, the aim is to have 100 riders from the property industry complete the challenge and raise £250,000.
The challenge, now in it's sixth year, starts in London, takes in the countryside, hills and mountains of France and finishes on the Mediterranean coast at The Croissette in Cannes in time for MIPIM, the world’s premier exhibition event for the property sector.
With motorcycle outriders leading the way, Cycle to Cannes offer its riders a unique challenge and for many, the closest they will get to the Tour de France experience.
2012 marks that start of a new, long-term partnership between Coram and Cycle to Cannes.
Two thirds of the monies raised through this year’s event will be donated to Coram, and will be used help change the lives of 10,000 children in London, and across the UK, through two areas of Coram's vital work:
The remainder will be used to support other charities with close links to the Cycle to Cannes challenge.
Money is raised through a combination of personal sponsorship of riders and corporate support. Whether you’re interested in positioning your company alongside some of the biggest names in property or seating yourself on a bike bound for the Mediterranean, we’d love to have your support.
