Coram cares about what matters most to children - to feel safe; to feel loved; to feel confident enough to make choices. We give practical and emotional help to more than 15,000 vulnerable children, young people and their families every year, but we can’t continue to do this without your support.

Making a donation in celebration of a wedding, birthday or anniversary, or leaving a donation to commemorate the life of a loved one is an amazing way to create better chances for the UK’s most vulnerable children.
Please contact us if you would like to set up a special fund in memory of someone you love, for you, your friends, family or colleagues to contribute to over time.
Leave a Legacy for Children
Coram relies increasingly on legacies to fund our work. Once you have provided for your family, we would like to ask you to consider remembering Coram in your Will so that we can provide for children who don’t have families of their own.
Remembering a charity in your Will is easy. Your gift can be a proportion of the remainder of your estate - known as a Residuary Legacy, or a specific sum of money - often called a Pecuniary Legacy. If you already have a Will you can make a simple addition or change to include Coram using a codicil form. Download this here. If you don't have a Will we would advise you to see a solicitor.
A legacy from you could ensure that vulnerable and deprived children have a better chance in life for many years to come.
Tax efficient giving
Gift Aid is an initiative set up by the government to help charities reclaim the basic rate tax that has been paid on donations received by us. This increases the value of your donations to Coram by at least 25% and at no extra cost to you!
To sign up to Gift Aid you must be paying income tax or capital gains tax which at least equals the amount Coram will claim in the tax year. The government also asks that you:
- Provide your full name and address
- Ensure donations are made from a personal bank or building society account (Gift Aid cannot be claimed on donations from company accounts).
