Young people
For every child whose childhood has been unhappy; for every child who has felt alone; for every child who has thought no one really cares, a young person emerges who must deal with the challenges their childhood has created.
Coram helps these young people work through difficulties so that they have the confidence and know-how to set and achieve new goals in life. We do this through:
- Supported housing for young homeless people
- Counselling support
- Building confidence and parenting capabilities in young parents
- Building awareness and coping strategies for isolated young people
- Youth work to help young people cope with challenges in life including change and peer influence.
