Exclusive art exhibition invite from Salt and Pegram
Salt and Pegram invite you to an exclusive art exhibition displaying the works by Sylvia Moritz and Nicholas Cheeseman at their London based showroom
Sylvia Moritz is a graphic artist hailing from Austria. Moritz's fine art etchings showcase a distinctive illustrative style with a strong attention to detail. Her Citysphere works explore the unpredictable and chaotic growth of urban areas. Creating 360 degree stereographic panoramas she uses a minute level of detail to involve the viewer while successfully incorporating the detailed materials and textures of metropolitan areas.
Nicholas Cheeseman is a graduate of Chelsea College of Arts. He produces traditional craft objects in a fine art context. Working primarily in sculpture he also produces exquisitely detailed pen drawings made entirely from carefully placed dots. In this series of drawings Nicholas continues to investigate the notion of the imperfect, impermanent and incomplete. Through a simple but obsessive process he records lines, forms and structures using different densities of dots to create tones. The images depict a single point on the journey of growth and decay of objects that are often ignored as detritus.
We are delighted that the hosts of this exhibition, Salt and Pegram, have decided to donate 10% of sales to Coram.
The exhibition will be open from 6th February - 26th March, with a private view on Thursday 5th February 6 - 9pm. If you would like to attend, please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note opening times as follows: Monday – Thursday 9am – 5.30pm and Friday 9am – 4.30pm. Closed at weekends.
