Animé, an exhibition inspired by the Foundling Hospital
Coram and the Foundling Museum present Animé, a collaborative exhibition inspired by the story of the Foundling Hospital
In Animé, led by a Museum artist, a Coram art therapist and an art teacher, young people from Camden Centre for Learning made objects and animation that explore ideas around identity, attachment and loss. Audio recordings of the young people reveal how they use art to express their feelings.
The Foundling Museum will be showing the final animation only.
Coram will be showing the animation as well as objects created during the project.
The exhibition features as part of the Mental Health Foundation’s 2014 Anxiety Arts Festival which is taking place at venues across London this June.
