Coram is proud to support this year’s Refugee Week (17-23 June) with exciting new initiatives involving young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds, highlighting the issues they face and their hopes for the future. The 2019 theme is ‘You, me and those who came before’, and the aim is to celebrate the talent and expertise that refugees bring with them to the UK.

Coram Beanstalk is delighted to announce that the i newspaper has today launched a nationwide campaign to encourage readers to help spread the magic of books and reading by volunteering with Coram Beanstalk – supporting children in early years settings and primary schools to read well and with confidence across the country.
Today, the Children’s Commissioner for England Anne Longfield published the ‘Advocacy for Children' report. This report intends to build on research conducted in 2016 into the provision of advocacy across England, which found substantial variation across local authorities. 'Advocacy for Children' was guided by an expert working group, including Brigid Robinson, Managing Director of Coram Voice on behalf of the National Children’s Advocacy Consortium.
