Coram has joined 45 charities and organisations writing to the Prime Minister to warn that tens of thousands of EU citizens – including children and young people – are in real danger of losing their legal status and rights in just three weeks’ time on the EU Settlement Scheme deadline of June 30th.

Coram’s CEO, Dr Carol Homden, was interviewed on two national radio stations this morning (13 May), following a story broadcast yesterday on BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme featuring a couple whose adopted children had broken off contact with them after establishing contact with their birth family on social media.
Coram Children’s Legal Centre has joined with Liberty and Inclusion London to intervene in a landmark case which will be heard in the Supreme Court today. The interveners seek to ensure that the rights of children and disabled people to seek redress and compensation for data breaches by companies and other bodies that mishandle their personal information are protected.

Slough Borough Council has today joined other local authorities across London to become part of Coram Ambitious for Adoption, one of the country’s largest Regional Adoption Agencies.
