Adopter talks about the joy of meeting her daughter on Valentine’s Day

You might notice a mention of Coram in this weekend’s Guardian! Meeting her adopted daughter for the first time on Valentine’s Day, Susan has never looked back. Susan talks about the challenges, and the joy, of adopting with Coram.
“I’ve got a birth son who’s 31 years old and I’ve now got an adopted daughter of eight years old.
“She brings so much joy to my life, so much happiness. In all that process of wanting to go through adoption, I didn’t think that, being a single parent, I would be able to do it because back in those days it was always a thing of a mother and a father.”
Coram is the UK’s first dedicated children’s charity with over 40 years experience of helping children find new parents.
