D&D has previously been an amazing supporter of Coram, having donated £14,000 as part of the Lord Mayor’s appeal in 2011, and their renewed support will change yet more lives.
Bluebird, Quaglino's and the brand new German Gymnasium are just three of D&D’s 30 unique and iconic spaces across London.
Staff from across a number of these locations will raise funds and awareness for Coram through the company’s ‘Emerging Leaders’ programme, which provides training and development opportunities for staff earmarked for future leadership.
Jaimie Stewart, Head of Talent and Learning said:
“At D&D London we like to do things a little bit differently, which is why we are delighted to have teamed up with Coram with our unique approach to leadership development. It’s great for us because our managers get to practise skills like project management, influence and negotiation, all while raising loads of money.
Aside from being an amazing charity, D&D chose to work with Coram because like us, they have such a strong heritage here in London, in fact, the first site of the Foundling Hospital was just around the corner from our Head Office in Farringdon. Coram still makes a difference to the lives of young people. This is something that D&D London also passionately believes in and is why we support programmes that encourage young people from all back grounds into careers in hospitality.”
The final gala event will be held in August 2016, so watch this space!
