Sibling Time Activity Days

We are piloting a new service to offer Local Authorities a fun, supportive, therapeutic and safe environment for children who are looked after or adopted to have meaningful contact with their siblings.

The Children’s Commissioner has said she would like to see legal protection for sibling relationships to be maintained, as has been introduced in Scotland in July 2021.

TTwo boys playing outdoorshe regular ‘Sibling Time’ activity sessions will include:

  • Fun activities for all ages
  • Therapeutic input from creative therapies
  • Lunch and refreshments
  • Sibling photographs
  • Short report on the contact for each child/sibling group
  • Social work supervised sessions

Parents and carers to remain on site in a separate area, where refreshments and a mini training session will be provided at some sessions.

Don't miss this unique opportunity for brothers and sisters who are adopted or in permanent fostering placements to enjoy activities together in a fun and supervised environment.

Cost: £150 per child

The first session will take place in London on Tuesday 16 August 2022, 11am - 2pm. The final deadline for signing up is 16 July.
