Inspiring Women: Crossing the line

Inspiring Women: Crossing the line

Join us for the next in our Inspiring Women series, Crossing the Line for a networking evening with drinks, canapés and inspiring discussion which will focus on the role of women in sport.

The panel will be made up of British adventurer, author and speaker Sarah Outen along with Niamh Briggs, captain of the Ireland Women's rugby team and Francesca Brown, CEO of company Goals4Girls.

In November 2015, Sarah returned from her 4.5 year bid to loop the planet using human power having set off from London in 2011. Don’t miss out of hearing tales from her journey first hand.

Niamh took over the captaincy of the Ireland Women’s team and guided Ireland to the Six Nations title in 2015. In 2014, Niamh was part of the Irish team that finished in fourth place at the 2014 IRB Women’s World Cup and was named in the IRB Team of the Year.

Francesca launched Goals4Girls in 2013, a football development programme which diversely works with a selection of young women to build and sustain a development pathway through sports and education and has since reached over 700 young women in and around London.
