Supporting practitioners who work with children
Coram is dedicated to improving outcomes for children and young people in care.
We do this by working directly with children and young people and also by supporting and training the agencies and professionals that work with them including social workers and those working in health, the law and other related areas of activity.
CoramBAAF offers training and support to agencies and professionals to develop their skills and knowledge. It also offers a comprehensive range of publications on adoption and fostering. Visit the CoramBAAF bookshop to find out more and browse our publications.
Coram-i works with local authorities so they are better equipped to achieve permanency for looked after children.
Coram Children's Legal Centre runs a programme of training courses on children and young people's rights for professionals and practitioners. Courses are aimed at service providers in the statutory and voluntary/independent sector and all those working with or supporting children, young people and families including social workers, advocates, independent reviewing officers, support workers, teachers, foster carers, mentors, advisers and volunteers.
