Virtual events

Coronavirus (Covid-19) update – we ask that you carefully consider the Government’s official advice when choosing your fundraising challenge.

Virtual events happen online, rather than in the real world, and can take the place of many mass participation events that you may have been planning. It means you can take part no matter where you are based.

Sign up to one of Coram's virtual events now!

In partnership with Run for Charity, we've got lots of virtual events you can sign up to right now!

The Virtual New Year Run- Available to runners of all abilities, this challenge is designed to get you fit and healthy and energised for the next 12 months. Your goal is to rack up the marathon distance of 26.2 miles in January, finishing with one final run on January the 31st. Receive a virtual gold medal for completing the race - An additional prize is offered to the participant who fundraises the most amount of money for their charity-an additional £250 will be donated the charity of their choice.

Virtual Valentine's Day Run - Take this 10K challenge on any time before or on the 14th of February (Valentine’s Day). To complete this challenge you must complete a 10K distance for the virtual silver medal. This run can be completed in a variety of ways - In a pair completing 5k each on Valentine’s Day, 10K alone on Valentine’s Day for the lonely hearts clubbers, 5K alone on two separate days, or 5k in a pair on any day.

Virtual Easter Run- This is a 5K Virtual run which can be done on or before Easter. The Virtual Easter Run also has a special challenge attached and asks that you run 5K on Easter day with a fetching pair of bunny ears. Quite simply to earn the special challenge virtual medal you will need to upload a picture of you at the end of your run in Easter fancy dress.

Virtual Charity Challenge - The idea is for you to come up with your own virtual charity challenge and then complete it. By doing so we will send you one of our special Virtual Charity Challenge medals. Please contact us for inspiration if you need it, we will be in touch to discuss your challenge and get you going. Your challenge could be done alone, as a pair or in a large team. Examples of previous challenges have been climbing the height of Everest at home, the press-up challenge, (100 press ups a day for a month) going sober for a month, running a 5k backwards, the crazier the better!!
