Summative Evaluation of UNICEF Uzbekistan’s Child Protection Programme from 2021 to 2024

In 2024-2025, Coram International conducted a summative evaluation of UNICEF Uzbekistan's Child Protection Programme from 2021 to 2024.

The evaluation aimed to provide a learning tool for UNICEF Uzbekistan, duty-bearers and key stakeholders in the child protection system by documenting the successes, barriers and bottlenecks in the design and implementation of the Child Protection Programme 2021-2024. The evaluation took a theory-based and non-experimental approach, with a mixed-methods methodology incorporating both quantitative and qualitative methods. The methodology was further based on the evaluation criteria of the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development / Development Assistance Committee, which are: relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, coherence, and (likely) impact.

The report, available for download below and on UNICEF’s Evaluations site, presents the findings, conclusions and recommendations of this summative evaluation.
