You can also create an online tribute page, giving friends and family a place to come together, share memories and make donations in their own time, whether in lieu of flowers or as an ongoing tribute.

Helping young people know their rights

When Sadie became homeless at 17, she wasn’t given enough information about her rights or the support available to her as a care-experienced young person. She spent four years living in a homeless hostel, struggling financially while studying. After being referred to Coram Voice, an advocate helped Sadie understand her rights and, with support from a Coram solicitor, she was granted retrospective care status. This gave her access to safe accommodation, financial support and help with her education. Sadie is now living independently and studying at university.
