Step 1 – Take the piece of paper showing the side with the windows and door, and fold it across the middle dotted line. The roof design should now be on the outside.
Step 2 – Take the folded paper showing the “Draw what makes a loving home” facing you. Take the right side of the paper, and fold the triangle lines so that the roof folds in on itself. You should now see the tree and the window on the front right side
Step 3 – Take the left side of the paper, and fold the triangle lines so that the roof folds in on itself. You should now see the window and loving home door on the front left side
Step 4 – Fold along the vertical dotted lines on each side to reveal the space to draw what a loving home means to you
Step 5 – Punch a hole in the top, and tie a piece of string through it so you can hang your decoration up at home to keep children who don’t have a loving home yet in mind this Christmas.
Take care with where you place your paper decoration – do not place it in close proximity to sources of ignition.

Support Coram this Christmas
Every child and young person deserves a loving home and Coram is dedicated to making that happen. We find loving homes for children through adoption. We support young care leavers to navigate their journey to independence. Our Creative Therapies team give children and families the tools to build the skills and resilience they need to thrive.
