Voices in Action is an award winning programme where young people use there lived experience to campaign for change and make a difference to other young people.
The Programme:
We run a free programme on Wednesday evenings in Kings Cross. You will learn about housing rights and policy in the UK. You will learn skills in running workshops, public speaking and peer education. You will also be part of a creative campaign that will be designed and lead by you.
This programme leads to occasional paid opportunities such as delivering workshops to other young people or acting as a consultant – giving your expert opinions to policy makers and professionals.
The programme starts in September and runs every other week. We will provide travel costs(up to £10) and dinner. Our team will also be on hand to support you, your goals and aspirations!
The dates:
The sessions will run on the following dates 5.00 – 7.30 at our Kings Cross Campus. The content may change depending on staff availability.

- 14 October: Creativity and Campaigns 1
- 28 October: Introduction to Policy Work
- 11 November: Introduction to Peer Education
- 25 November: Facilitation Skills
- 9 December: Public Speaking
- 6 January: Creative Campaign
- 20 January: Wrapping Up
- 3 February: Celebration
