Every child should have the chance to grow up in a safe, loving and permanent family. Yet for too many children in England, that future is still out of reach. This report shines a light on a growing challenge.
Over recent years, the gap between the number of children who need adoption and the number of people coming forward to adopt has widened – and unless that trajectory changes, even more children could face longer waits for a permanent family in the years ahead.
