Coram Potential Plus

Established in 1967 as the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC), Potential Plus UK has nearly 6 decades of experience, expertise and understanding of high learning potential.

Services include specialist assessments and comprehensive reports, expert parent and professional consultancy, and resources designed to empower parents to advocate for their child’s social, emotional and learning needs.

In 2025, the charity directly benefitted 1,347 children and families across national, regional and online events as well as specialist consultancy and assessments of academic strengths and holistic support needs. 8,000 families and schools are supported through membership and community Facebook groups—Parenting High Potential and Parenting Gifted Children— where they are able to access peer-support, Toolkits, expert resources and webinars.

“For nearly 60 years, Potential Plus UK has been proud to be the UK's only charity dedicated to supporting children with high learning potential and their families. Through expert advice, specialist assessments, events and a supportive community, we have helped thousands of families better understand and champion their children, often in times of isolation and uncertainty. Time and again, our community has told us this work is life-changing and that it is vital it continues. We are delighted that Coram is welcoming our community into its family, securing and improving upon this specialist support for the future and helping it reach even more children and families."
