Your partner to achieve change and opportunities for children and families

Since 1999, Coram Hempsall’s has been delivering on early years and childcare policy implementation, quality and outcomes, and the safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults, with a strong commitment to anti-discriminatory practice.

We support practitioners, providers, organisations, local authorities, and central governments to achieve high quality, sustainable early years and childcare. We provide project management, consultancy, research, and training in national, regional, and local strategy, planning, service improvement, curriculum and pedagogy best practice, child protection, and service delivery.

Our work

We have helped others to develop many thousands of childcare places, shaped local policy and strategy (e.g. Sure Start, children’s centres, Family Hubs), and supported and challenged the national implementation of childcare sufficiency duties, early learning for least advantaged two-year-olds, 30 hours childcare, Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, and now wraparound childcare and expanded early years entitlements.

We deliver hundreds of training sessions, workshops and events each year for early years and childcare providers, schools, local and national charities and corporate organisations, trustees and management committees, and retail brands.

The ease of which our thinking is developed and challenged (nicely!) is so useful. No one else brings the sector together the way [Coram] Hempsall’s do, and the ‘knock-on’ impact of that is varied, but very much tangible, e.g., shared resources, problem solving together, [and] peer support.
