Join us for Coram's Supporter Day and Evening
Find out how our work supports young care leavers.
We would like to invite you to join us for a supporter event focusing on Coram's work with care experienced young people on 20th (3pm to 4.30pm) or 21st July (6pm to 7.30pm) at the Coram Campus to:
- Hear firsthand from young care leavers how Coram has made a difference in their lives.
- Meet our team of experts responsible for delivering our services and how they are responding to challenges such as the high rates of homelessness among care leavers.
- Enjoy delicious refreshments and an opportunity to meet others who are interest in our work at this informal gathering.
We would like the opportunity show you how the support you have shown us has made a difference in supporting young care leavers. This is one of the many areas Coram specialises in by providing those leaving care with advocacy, advice and opportunities to get their voices heard. Last year we supported over 1000 young care leavers, directly supporting 300 who were experiencing homelessness.
Many of these young care leavers have taken part in programmes such as the Voices Competition where we celebrate care expereinced children and young poeple's creativity. At this event, you will be able to read some of thier work, talk to young people who took part and find out the impact programmes like these have on young people's lives.
You are more than welcome to bring guests.
