Next of Kin: A Portrait of Adoptive Families by Richard Ansett
Drawing on his own experience of adoption, award winning photographer Richard Ansett has created a series of intimate portraits that explore the deeply personal stories of those he considers his ‘tribe’. The series has been specially commissioned by Coram to mark the centenary of The Adoption of Children Act 1926 and to celebrate National Adoption Week 2026, as well as support our ongoing adoption recruitment programme.

Adoption Activity Days
Activity Days allow you to meet a range of children who are waiting to be adopted in a supported, safe and fun environment. Referrals are free of charge but you will need to be in at least Stage 2 of the assessment process with a positive recommendation from your social worker.
Training for legal professionals
CCLC provide training for social work teams, IROs, advocates, personal advisers, NGOs and other frontline practitioners. We can also tailor any of our full day training, or provide separate training to cover other areas – for example healthcare, access to education & EU rights.

Adoption Exchange Days
Exchange Days are events where adoption agencies can profile their children and adopters. You can have a stand at the event or you can attend as a practitioner to support your adopters.
