Join colleagues from across the adoption sector for a forum focused on adopter recruitment. This event will explore the findings of Adoption Propensity in England, Coram's latest research into the factors that influence people's willingness and propensity to adopt. Alongside an overview of the research, participants will have the opportunity to consider what the findings mean for their own area and how they can be translated into effective recruitment strategies. The forum is designed for adoption service leaders, managers, practitioners, recruitment professionals and others with responsibility for recruiting and supporting adopters.

This one-day forum will bring together senior leaders from children's social care, care-experienced people, researchers, technology partners, social enterprises and the voluntary sector to explore the central question: If we were designing children's social care today, knowing what AI and modern technology can now do, what would we build differently to improve outcomes for children, and what must remain fundamentally human?

2027 will be Coram PACEY’s 50th anniversary year. The theme for our conference and throughout the year is ’50 years of impact driving a future full of ambition’. Throughout the day, we will be looking back and celebrating the last fifty years of childcare and early years and the contribution of home-based childcare professionals.
