Free youth led workshops for young people and professionals
Through our Voices in Action programme, 16-25 year olds with experience of school exclusion and homelessness co-design and deliver workshops using their own experiences to make a difference to others.
If you’re interested in booking in a workshop for your young people or staff please contact Crystal, our Youth Engagement and Co-production Officer, on crystal.crawford@coram.org.uk.

Workshops for professionals
Our workshops are co-designed and delivered by young people. They give professionals the opportunity to hear from young people on their experiences and best practice from a young person’s perspective.
We offer workshops to the following:
-
Teachers on school exclusion – how to prevent school exclusion and support young people through the school exclusions process
-
Local authority housing teams – how to support young people effectively who are at risk of homelessness. Find out more here.
-
Solicitors – how to work with young people to ensure they feel supported through the process

Workshops for young people
We’re offering free one-hour workshops, giving young people the opportunity to hear from their peers on their experiences. The workshops are interactive and empowering, sharing messages of inspiration from our young facilitators.
Workshops for 12 – 16 year olds who are finding school challenging
Delivered by young facilitators with experience of school exclusion for their peers. Workshops help young people explore what to do if they’re finding school difficult and what their rights are if they face internal or external exclusion.
Workshops for 16 – 25 year old who are homeless or facing housing insecurity
Delivered by young facilitators with experience of homelessness and housing insecurity for their peers. Workshops look at what young people can do if they face homelessness, what their rights are and how to communicate with professionals to get their needs met.
This work builds on our previous peer-led workshops with migrant young people – you can view a video which brings this to life here:
