We're looking for Adoption Ambassadors

Are you an adopted person aged 18-25? Do you want to join a group of other adoptees and use your voice to change how people think about adoption?

2026 is the 100th anniversary of legal adoption in England and Coram is marking the centenary by hosting a range of events and activities. We want to ensure that the voices of adopted young people are at the heart of our work this year and in years to come.

What we do will be guided by you, but could include:

  • Speaking to politicians and policy makers
  • Advising people in education or those who work in children’s social care
  • Public speaking and media opportunities
  • Running workshops for other young people

Our work this year will lead to a series of events during the 2026 National Adoption Week in October. 

The group will meet in person in London each month with online sessions for people who live outside London.
