Coram responds to school exclusions statistics showing rise in suspensions for children with SEN
Coram has responded to the school exclusion statistics for the autumn term of 2024/2025, published today by the Department for Education (DfE), which show a slight drop in permanent exclusions and suspensions from school in general, while suspension rates for children with special educational needs (SEN) rise.
Coram granted independent research organisation status by the UKRI
On World Children’s Day, Coram is delighted to announce that the charity’s application to UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) for recognition as an independent research organisation (IRO) has been successful, and that we are now eligible to bid directly for research grant funding from the seven research councils of the United Kingdom.
