Coram, the UK’s first children’s charity, is delighted to announce that it has been chosen by leading law firm Macfarlanes as its Charity of the Year.

Through this partnership, Macfarlanes will help raise vital funds to support Coram’s work, giving children and young people the chance to thrive, realise their potential and build brighter futures.
Founded in 1739, Coram provides life-changing support to children and families across the UK through adoption, education, advocacy and youth programmes. The partnership will see Macfarlanes partners and employees come together to fundraise, volunteer and take part in a wide range of activities in support of Coram’s mission. The firm will also provide pro bono support, extending the reach and impact of its contribution.
Dr Carol Homden CBE, Coram CEO, said: “This partnership will make a transformative difference, enabling us to reach more children and young people who need stability, belonging and hope for the future.”
Louise Zekaria, Director of Inclusion and CSR at Macfarlanes, said: “Only 20 minutes’ walk from our office, we are able to offer hands-on volunteering and practical support in addition to fundraising. We look forward to welcoming some of the young people that Coram supports to our offices over the coming year.”
