Coram International was pleased to facilitate a validation workshop in Tunis with the UNICEF Libya Country Office and its government partners.
This workshop served to finalise the standard operating procedures for the Family and Child Protection Units within the Libyan police service. This milestone marks a significant step towards ensuring the delivery of child-friendly justice for children in Libya. Over the next six months, Coram International will continue to support UNICEF Libya and the Family and Child Protection Office to develop and roll out a training curriculum for police on implementing the standard operating procedures, contributing to ensuring children’s rights to access child-friendly justice.
